Aaliyah Dana Haughton better known as Aaliyah.

Aaliyah was born on 16th Jan, 1979, Brooklyn, New York, who performed under the mononym Aaliyah , was an American recording actress, actress, model and Pop Star.

Aaliyah worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million, which sold two million copies in the United States and over eight million copies worldwide.

Aaliyah and eight others were killed in an airplane crash in The Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat", on 25th August, 2009. For more information click here.
